Dear
Sisters:
It’s hard to believe that the holidays are almost upon us! To help us
get into a festive mood and give us some ideas for holiday decorating,
Courtney Kett from Dixon Florist and Gift Shop will be demonstrating bow
making and how to create a holiday centerpiece. Plan to arrive by 7:00
p.m. so that she has ample time to complete her demonstration prior to
our meeting.
In preparation for Thanksgiving, our theme for the November 18th evening
will be “Pilgrim Feast” Giving Thanks. The Chairperson for the evening
is Marie Dutra and her committee is Helen Doane, Delores Garton, Elaine
Lawrence, Alice Reis and Eva Romani.
The Grand President’s visit was amazing. We had numerous visitors from
our sister institutes and as always, a great turnout from our own
institute. Great job ladies!
Our Soup Luncheon was a big success. The decorations were fantastic, the
soups and desserts were outstanding and we had lots of wonderful raffle
prizes. Everyone involved did an awesome job!! Thanks!
Don’t forget our Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale on December 4th and
5th. It will be held in the Parish Hall after 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday
and 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday. You can drop off your donations
between 10:00 and 12:00 on Saturday at the Parish Hall. We will be
accepting homemade crafts and nice white-elephant items appropriate for
resale. Baked goods may be dropped off prior to any of the Masses. Let’s
all pitch in and make this the best sale yet! For further information
