--- May 2005 Newsletter---  

Dear Sisters:

It has been a very busy month for us, since our last meeting.  Our Salad luncheon was a huge success.  Kay Green and her committee did a fabulous job.  The decorations were beautiful, the baskets for the raffle were amazing and the food was wonderful.  All in all, we did a great job!  Thanks to everyone who donated salads, desserts, baskets and worked on the luncheon in any way.  Our final accounting will be at our May19th meeting. 

Once again we had our garden booth at the May Fair and it was fantastic as usual.  We took first in our category, “All that Jazz”.  Thanks to Carolyn and her green thumb committee for a great job. 

Our committee for the May 19^th meeting is Geri  Guidici chairman, Kathy Jones, Joan Hays, Francis Munger, Lupe Padilla, Marlene Vega and Anna Deusenberry.   Our theme will be “Honor thy Mother.”  Refreshments will be at 7:00 & the meeting will start at 7:30.

We are still looking for runners, walkers and rockers for the Relay for Life on June 11 & 12^th.  Leslie Null has been busy organizing the “Sacred Hearts” complete with T-shirts with our team name and the YLI logo.
