--- June 2005 Newsletter---  

Dear Sisters,

I can’t believe that it’s time for convention and installation already!  This year has flown by.  We’ve accomplished so much, learned a great deal, grown spiritually, made new friends and had lots of fun along the way.  Our institute is indeed very special and gets better each year.

Our meeting on June 16^th will include installation of our officers for next year.  The theme for the evening will be “Take me out to the ballgame.”  Sport your favorite team’s hat, shirt etc. and be prepared to play ball!  The committee for the evening is Chairman Kathy Keeter, Silvia Forcier, Irene Leal, Ann Goldfarb, Jennifer McCarty and Gloria George.  Plan to be there by 7:00 for refreshments.

The Relay for Life event will be taking place the weekend of the June 11^th and 12^th.  Plan to come out to Dixon Fairgrounds and support your “Sacred Hearts”.

Enclosed you will find a Committee Assignments sheet for next year.  Please complete and bring to the meeting so I can get started on plans for the upcoming year.  Include any suggestions you have for the good of the Institute.

Check your booklet from last year to make sure your name, address and phone numbers are correct.  Also, if you don’t have a badge or your badge is incorrect, please notify me so I can get things corrected and updated.

It’s been a great year.  Thanks for the opportunity to serve as your President.  I have learned so much!  Virginia, Pauline and I are off to the convention and when we return - gear up girls, it’s round two!
