Sisters:
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
Our next meeting is December 16th. In line with our theme for the
evening, Winter Wonderland Shower for Baby Jesus, we will be having a
speaker to talk about the Alpha Pregnancy Center. We will begin at 7:00
PM as usual with refreshments. The committee for the evening is Brigette
Larin Chairman, Tommi Murillo, Deveron Ford, Jo Ann Hooper, Debbie
Fowler, Mary Anderson and Sadie Adams.
Don’t forget your baby gifts! The Center has some suggestions that would
be especially helpful: crib and receiving blankets, diapers size 1 to 5,
onesies, diaper bags, Precious Moments baby books, anything newborn,
bottles, baby wipes, Desitin, and powder. Items received are placed in
baskets and given to new moms at the center. Everything helps and all
donations are greatly appreciated.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Dolores Garton and her
family on the passing of her husband. Special prayers for Norman George
who is recovering from an angioplasty and Mattie Perez who is out of the
hospital and recuperating at Sierra Convalescent home in Davis.
As we prepare for the celebration of the birth of our Lord, take time to
reflect on the events of this year and the many blessings in our lives.
May 2005 bring peace and harmony to our world and lots of new members to
YLI!
